The accommodation has a beautiful pool and the layout of the individual bungalows is well thought out. The restaurant overlooks the pool and although it has limited offerings on the menu the staff were extremely friendly and the food and drinks on offer were good value. There is also cooled water which you can help yourself to - a lovely touch. The thatched huts are on stilts with a spacious shaded veranda to welcome you. Inside the room is rustic and basic but completely adequate and there was the bonus of a fridge - every room in Bali should have one - IMHO. The outdoor bathroom/shower again is simple with quite a clever bamboo shower (loads of hot water) - we were only staying one night so it was fine. Flower Bud is an ideal stop-over point for a return layover before flying home - our journey to the airport was 1/2 an hour max by taxi. I think this property represented excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. The accommodation is easy to find and only a few minutes walk from Bangalan beach. (Note, don't be put of the main road you have to traverse to get to Bangalan - the location itself is along a quiet winding country lane which becomes more and more serene the further on it goes. A quite word about the beach - so easy to access on foot and only a few minutes walk. The view is stunning; flanked by a golf course on the left and serene cliffs to the right and it became quickly apparent that it attracts avid sufers. You can wander along the shore and watch the sunset behind the shadowy surfing figures as they dedicately catch the waves well into the dusk. The beach itself isn't the cleanest but there was a warm atmosphere conjured by the confluence of locals and visitors of all ages sharing the space together and simply enjoying the calm and beautiful ocean.

Near beach food in area nice, alot of places seem abit expensive though as l feel it close to beach but food amazing Only thing, no one to show us around the place and we didn't even know there was a restaurant we had to find out ourselves Alot of places are like hotel / restaurants there were a few places cheap but not many but for service and quality of food l say worth it Other then that staff was nice and helpful when we needed and asked for help If coming from airport they rip you off Work out the cost before going in taxi 1 hr drive from taxi they charged us $80 australian. Know that's too much as we got taxi from hotel it cost us less then half 800.000 2nd time was around 250000 wasn't back to airport but it was a drive for a hr as well to other hotel

The restaurant has decent prices but still a bit pricier than outside. One meal ranged from 50k-70k with drinks ranging from 10k-80k for cocktails. The staff are just so nice and amazing. Ask them anything. Motorbike 10k a day. Small local shops and supermarket nearby. The room was so homey. You can hang outside or inside. Good internet connection. Outdoor bathroom setup which I quite liked. There is equipment to dry your clothes. Had a small fridge with a kettle. Make sure to book a room with an aircon available.

It did lack air conditioning, but the fan was enough to keep us cool at night. We really liked the very beautiful garden and privacy. It was our first stay at Bali, and we felt like in paradise 😊 Also the balangan beach was the best and cleanest one we saw in Uluwatu. Nice waves for surfing and possible to swim if you are a good swimmer. The pool was also clean and well maintained. Food variety at the restaurant. Staff was helpful and friendly. They offer massage and other services for a very good price, but we didn't have enough time to try. Our cottage was very clean, and the AC worked well. We didn't have many problems with insects at the open bathroom, luckily 😉
